Privacy policy
In short: this site has no forms, uses no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking tools and loads no fonts, scripts or images from other companies’ servers. We only process your personal data when you contact us yourself. The Polish version of this policy prevails in case of any discrepancy.
1. Data controller
The controller of personal data is GranitLab spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, registered office: ul. Żubrów 117, 43-215 Jankowice, Poland, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register (KRS) under no. 0001262095, NIP 6381868453, REGON 545532479 (“we”).

2. Browser storage – theme switch
If you click the theme switch (light or dark), we save your choice in your browser’s storage (localStorage) under the key
gl-theme. The entry is created only after the click, contains only the word “light” or “dark”, is never sent to the
server and does not identify you. It needs no consent, because it is strictly necessary for a feature you explicitly request
(Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law). You can delete it at any time by clearing the site data in your
browser settings.
3. Server logs
The server hosting the site automatically records basic information about each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the response code and browser information. We do this to protect the site from abuse and keep it running – our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep logs for no longer than 30 days, unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
The site is run on external infrastructure providers (hosting, content delivery and attack protection), who process this data on our behalf under data processing agreements. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, this is based on a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
4. E-mail correspondence
When you write to kontakt@granitlab.pl, we process the data you give us – usually your name, e-mail address, company name and the content of your message.
- Purpose and legal basis: replying to your enquiry and taking steps before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); otherwise, handling correspondence and establishing, pursuing or defending claims – our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: for the duration of the correspondence and then for the limitation period of any claims.
- Recipients: the e-mail service provider we use.
5. Booking a call
If you book a call via the calendar link, the booking takes place on an external provider’s service, which processes data under its own privacy policy. We receive the details you enter when booking and process them like e-mail correspondence (section 4).
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy,
- rectify your data,
- have your data erased,
- restrict processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
To exercise these rights, write to kontakt@granitlab.pl. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa).
Providing data is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply to your message. We do not make automated decisions or use profiling.
7. Changes
If the way the site works changes, we will update this document. The current version is always available at this address.
